The purpose of the study program is to complete the process of education of the Faculty students enabling them to acquire the highest professional title in the field of physical education and sport. The purpose of the study program is to complete the process of education of the Faculty students enabling them to acquire the highest professional title in the field of physical education and sport. The study program thus contributes to the improvement of scientific research and professional work and the development of the scientific field of physical education and sport and science in general. The study program provides the students with introduction to the modern scientific knowledge and achievements in the interdisciplinary field of social sciences, the humanities and sports sciences, as well as introduction to the research problems in these fields. The study program provides the acquisition of competencies that are socially, not only justified and useful, but also necessary, trains staff to independently conduct original scientific research and develop new technologies. The program enables: connection with other higher education institutions and scientific institutes dealing with research in the field of social sciences, the humanities and sports sciences, as well as in various interdisciplinary research, participation in scientific conferences, and increasing the Faculty's references in the field of physical education and sports. The study program is the basis for the design of new scientific research projects, which gives a great contribution to the introduction of new generation of scientists into the scientific field of Physical Education and Sport. The program trains a student to be an independent scientific worker who will be guided in their scientific research work by the highest professional and ethical standards. The purpose of the study program is in line with the basic objectives of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education and it ensures continuity in providing the highest level of education to the necessary staff, ready to put the acquired knowledge in the service of further improvement of all segments of physical education and sport. The study program is coordinated with the general mission of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in creating modern, competent and independent experts, and in accordance with the needs of the community.
